Lacey Lodge is named for our wonderful Golden Retriever - Lacey - whom we adopted from a Seeing Eye facility. She is afraid of loud noises so she did not pass the final testing to be a seeing eye dog. But we love her just the way she is.

This is the second season our log cabin has been available for vacation rentals by the week or long weekends all year round. The cabin is situated high on a ridge overlooking fabulous views of the Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina in all its splendor. No matter what the season, the natural beauty of the mountains captures your mind and spirit, helps you unwind and, for a little while, lets you forget everything except the fact that this is the place to be.
